This case is absolutely beautiful. I am afraid to use it, though, because the sides are not protected and the corners have only a thin piece of protective material. The company explained that most phones hit a corner when dropped, and that's been true with my prior phone and clumsiness. However, that doesn't mean I'm not bumping the phone or it's not bouncing off something on its way to the floor. I also drop my phone on pavement sometimes (from standing out when getting out of a car) - just too risky with the minimal protection. I do daydream about using it for special occasions, though!
